The pattern is written for five sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) to fit both children and adults with a finished circumference of ca. 45 (49, 54, 59, 64) cm // 17.5 (19.5, 21.25, 23.25, 25) in.
Yarn: ca. 40 (55, 66, 76, 86) g or less than 1 skein of 100% Irish wool from Donegal Spinning Company, with ca. 200 m (218 yds) per 100 g skein, shown in colourway Grey 3750; or ca. 80 (110, 132, 152, 172) m // 87 (120, 144, 166, 187) yds of any other worsted/light aran weight yarn with a matching gauge.
The yardage includes enough for a tiny (2.5 cm (1 in) in diameter) pompom.
Gauge: 17 sts & 28 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) on 4.0 mm (US 6) needles measured over 2x2 ribbing in the round after blocking.
