This requires two skeins of Vivacious DK in contrasting colours to see the diamonds clearly, but two hanks are enough to complete one hat and mitten set.
I suggest using the opposite colours for the mittens as for the hat to make sure you have enough yarn. So for example if the hat uses Smokey Joe for the Diamonds and Maple Syrup for the background, switch this to Maple Syrup for the diamonds and Smokey Joe for the background for the mittens.
