This and That Toe Up Sock

I fell in love with 2 lace work motifs and the whirlpool toe by Cat Bordhi and had to see what would happen when these design elements were combined. And so, the This and That Toe Up Sock was born.

A 4-stitch braided ribbing is worked up both sides, on the heel flap, and cuff. The instep and leg are worked in an easy YO lace work pattern which is great for beginning lace knitters. Directions include options for tapered or rounded whirlpool toe styles and generic or calculated foot length. This pattern is a quick knit and travels well.

Gauge is important to final size of sock, and due to the lace pattern, this sock has lots of stretch. So if you are between sizes, size down.
