Three Little Owls

Three very different Little Owls in one pattern. Eddie the Eagle Owl, Sylvie the Snowy Owl and Barney the Barn owl. When made with light worsted weight (DK/8 ply) yarn and a 3 mm hook each owl measures approximately 5” (13cm). Recommended saftey eyes: Barn Owl: 9 mm Solid Black, Eagle Owl and Snowy Owl: 12 mm Orange Iris. The smaller versions shown in the last photo are made with a 1.5mm hook and 2 ply crochet thread and measure approximately 2 1/2" (7cm). Recommended saftey eyes: Barn Owl: 6 mm Solid Black, Eagle Owl and Snowy Owl: 8 mm Orange Iris. This pattern is written in American crochet terminology and includes a handy stitch conversion chart so you can translate to British crochet terms instead should you wish to.
