Tidewater Socks are knit top down, with a basic short-row heel and single-stitch toe definition with simple tie-off. The lace panel is based on an 8-row repeat, framed by a single cable on either side.
31 sts and 38 rows to 10 cm (4") in pattern
This pattern is inspired by the everchanging motion of the sea; unexpected shapes and colours emerge as the tidewaters advance and recede, leaving new patterns in the sand.
Any 4-ply light fingering weight sock yarn that meets the gauge can be used. The model was knit in Regia Cotton Tip & Top Color (41% wool, 34% cotton, 25% polyamide).
