This is a “Pick ‘n’ mix” pattern. It’s a cuff down sock pattern that I have included directions for making ankle/regular socks or shorties, short row or heel flap & gusset and plain or patterned toe! That’s 8 variations in 3 sizes! The choice is yours!
The No-holes Short row heel is a bit different to your usual “Wrap and turn” short row heel so I urge you to read the instructions carefully.
I tend to opt for DPN’s when knitting socks but I have written this pattern to be universal to every needle preference for knitting in the round. (recommended needle size 2.75mm/ US Size 2)
As in all my designs I have once again tried to create a pattern that shows off the wonderful yarns created by Independent hand dyers and this one even goes well with self striping yarns.
