For me, there is nothing better than a pair of socks knitted using pretty mini skeins of yarn. Combine this yarny joy with a festive theme, and I'm in knitting heaven!
With this design, I wanted to create something that gives you the excitement and anticiaption of the happy times that are shared over the winter celebrations.
The Tinsel Socks embody all of these cosy feelings. The sweet detail on every colour change is simple to work, and makes me think of tinsel winding it's way around a Christmas Tree.
You can of course, knit these socks at any time of year to whatever theme you like !
The pattern requires 5 x 20g mini skeins of fingering weight yarn. If knitting the size large, you may require a little more than 20g in the cuff, heel and toe shade.
