Produktdetails
Tinsmith is a top-down triangular shawl with bands of garter stitch between lace panels evocative of the patterning on tinware.
Worked in a fingering weight Tinsmith is a wonderful wrap of a shawl that can be worn year-round. Try it in a Merino Single for a rustic feel, Linen for a summer shawl and what about SeaSilk or Pure Silk for a luxurious version.
Written for two sizes the smaller shawl is a very good size, the large a fabulously generous shawl.
Size Options: As written – Small Version (shown on Page 7) 56” (142cm) wide, 26” (66.5cm) deep before blocking and 84” (213cm) wide, 31” (79cm) after; Large Version (shown above) 72” (183cm) wide, 34” (86.5cm) deep before blocking and 95” (241cm) wide, 42” (107cm) after. Measurements taken using Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light. Note that measurements will differ depending on yarn, tension, blocking etc and these are therefore given as a guide only.
