Tiny Gems Baby Blanket

The Tiny Gems Baby Blanket was inspired by a dishcloth that I designed In 2020 for the "Learn to Knit" series that I created for my daughter-in-law who wanted to learn how to knit. However, because of the pandemic, we couldn't really spend much time in person. So, I created the series especially for her, not realizing what a hit it would become.

One of my most viewed and downloaded patterns is the "Seersucker Dishcloth". So, I thought it would be fun to make a baby blanket using that design. It's a subtle pattern that looks like little diamonds and is so squishy. The framing is worked with the pattern, so it works up quickly in one piece.

The blanket is worked with stitch increments of 4 and an 8 row repeat, so the size can be adapted to a different size quite easily.

This patern includes the written directions, a row tracking checklist, chart, gift tags for gifting and a link to a video tutorial. This pattern has been tested.
