Tomboy is a simple, unisex beanie with double corded rib stitch pattern with options for a plain ribbed brim or a doubled rib brim. The design looks complicated but it is very easy to knit. There is no cables! Even though it looks that way.
Sizes S (M, L) to fit head circumference 20 (21-22, 23)” / 50-52 (54-56, 58-60)cm. Length from brim to top: 8½ (9, 9½)” / 21 (22.5, 24)cm. Materials Approx 220 yd (200 m) DK weight yarn, which gives you correct gauge. Gauge 22 sts x 28 rows over 4”/10 cm in Double corded rib pattern, worked in the round with needle US #6/4.0 mm. Recommended needle sizes US #4/3.5 mm circular needle or DPNs US #6/4.0 mm circular needle or DPNs Notions Stitch markers, tapestry needle or hook, optional pompom maker.
