Tor Ribbed Cable Hat

A classic twisting ribbed cable hat designed for chunky-weight wool. The rib within the cable gives extra definition to the design with the columns of knit stitches framing the twists of the cable. The pattern is aimed at the knitter who prefers to knit on single-pointed needles (knit flat) but there are also instructions about how to knit the hat in the round, including a cable chart. There is a photo-illustrated guide to mattress stitch included with the pattern to show how to create neat seams if knitting flat.
