Toy Truck

This knitted truck has a trailer on the back to store toys, or perhaps some candy and treats for cargo. For advanced beginner and intermediate knitters, the truck is knitted using short row shaping in garter stitch. The wheels are knitted separately and sewn on after making up. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the truck is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The crochet hook is used to work single crochet chains for the window struts. For intermediate knitters and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
