The shawl is crocheted top-down and is asymmetrical. Then the border is crocheted on the three sides. At one side of the border, I decreased one pattern repeat at the end which created a jagged edge. You can choose not to do that. This pattern will work with any kind of yarn and colours. Gauge is not important.
