Trillium is a beautifully simple but stylish baby blanket that can be knitted in either 4ply or DK weight yarn.
The simple eyelet pattern forms many little trillium, or three petal, flowers in an all over design. The blanket is edged in a non-curling garter stitch edging which is knitted at the same time as the central pattern.
Trillium can be knitted in a 4ply or DK weight yarn, instructions are given for both. There are instructions in the pattern for changing the size of the blanket.
The pattern is suitable for the beginning knitter with a little experience or for more advanced knitters looking for an easy relaxing knit.
The eyelet pattern is charted as well as written so that you can work from whichever instructions you prefer.
To knit this blanket you will need to know how to work simple increases and decreases and work a central double decrease. Instructions for all of these are given in the abbreviations section.
