Graceful cable and seed stitch long-sleeved cardigan with back and waist shaping, accentuated seams and twisted stitches to set off the cabling.
Construction: Sweater fronts, back and sleeves are knit flat from the bottom up with seams. The garter border is worked as part of the fronts, mitered at the center neckline, worked continuously with the neckline, then continued as bands which are joined around the back neck. Shoulders are shaped using short rows. Sleeves are set in.
Sample shown in size 40 on a 36" dress form (+4" ease).
Gauge: 18 sts and 28 rows = 4" in Seed Stitch using larger needles.
