This hat is meant to represent a bundle of sticks – each of them so tiny and fragile, but in a bundle so strong and unbreakable.
The pattern is given as a chart and the pattern instructions are given as a written text in a structured scheme. You will only have 2 colors in a round.
There is a small video tutorial on how to knit in the round with 2 skeins of yarn to show the basic principle of this technique.
For my sample, I worked with 2 colors until the end of the crown. You can also work with only one color for the crown decreases, which makes it easier to work with a decreasing number of stitches.
The pattern has been tested.
