This pattern features a beautiful yet easy lace - little chain links same as in the Unchained melody cowl and neck warmer. Similar stitch, different construction/shape of the shawl. It was designed for one 100g Hank of handpainted sock yarn (400m) - double stranded with fine mohair, preferable 400 m of each. I love mohair and I’m always amazed how much a little bit of fluff can influence the end results. Have fun choosing the right fluff! Use the fluff to tone down a very variegated yarn (admit it! we are always drawn to these one!) or use the fluff to accentuate one particular colour from the variegated or just use a plain colour wool and find the perfect match of fluff to give some extra luxury.
The shawl has an asymmetrical construction. Size can easily be adjusted - if you have enough yarn to making it larger - just keep going until you reach the desired dimensions
