My uncle is bald. My aunt pulled me aside recently and asked me to knit him a hat to sleep in, because his poor head gets so cold at night. Because I love my uncle, I chose to knit his hat with a cashmere blend, for the warmth and luxury of it.
Worked top down, the stockinette portion and ribbed portion of the hat each use half the skein.
Note that the bottom photo shows the handsome man in the Uncle hat with his lovely bride wearing a Bregdan.
