Under the Tree of Love is a Valentine's Day inspired fingerless gloves/arm-warmers design featuring the intricate Tree of Love, arches, and columns that hug your arm and hand and keep them warm.
The pattern includes a small version to better fit adults with small hands and/or teens and charts for full size mittens. The mitten version has no written instructions, charts only.
Materials• US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method); US size 00 (1.75mm) for ribbing (optional) • Fingering weight yarn – about 231y/50g (211m/50g): BC – 111y/24 g, CC1 – 120y/26 g, CC2 – 9y/2 g (the second contrast color is optional, it can be used to add design details in duplicate stitch after the knitting is done)
Gauge: 9 stitches and 13 rows = 1 x 1 inch in stranded pattern knit in the round
