Crochet Blanket PDF Pattern - Up, Up and Away Baby Blanket

The Up, Up and Away baby blanket pattern, with it's hot air balloon motif and cloud border, is perfect for a girl or boy. However, the pattern doesn't just have to be for babies, I have included instructions on how to adapt the size!

The pattern includes basic stitches and the double treble stitch (UK)/treble stitch (US), for which I have included instructions.

I have also included charts for 5 extra motifs for the balloon design in case you would like to change it up a little. These include a diamond, rainbow, diagonal stripes and more.

The blanket measures approximately 27 inches x 33 inches (69cm x 85cm) and will fit a cot or pram/stroller. It is made with Women's Institute DK yarn, however it is not critical you use these and can substitute with the yarn of your choice.

Materials needed: DK yarns and a 4mm crochet hook
