This baby bear hat and mitts pattern was designed for a new baby coming into the family. The entire project can be done in a single afternoon if you’re fast, and makes a simple quick gift for a baby shower. While the construction is simple, duplicate stitch is used on the mitts to create paws and short rows are used on the ears to create a plush structure. Use acrylic yarn for washability and to reduce the possibility of allergic reactions to natural fibers.
