This blanket is designed for my newborn daughter to make her first summer days comfortable and cozy. It has a seed stitch border, and a stocking stitch centre which means that it’s an easy knitting work. The vertical lines are embroidered with a crochet hook, and bears are embroidered using duplicate stitch technique. The pattern includes images of embroidery process. It also includes bear chart, so you could use it when working on other projects.
It’s knitted with Gazzal Baby Cotton XL yarn, but you could use any yarn of your choice and your favourite colour combination, the only thing you would need is to adjust number of stitches.
