I am excited about this cowl which is part of a series I am developing based on stitches used in my **Venetian Rose Blanket design. **The stitches used in this design are mostly textured, with a touch of eyelet insertion and a good deep lace section to provide extra challenge, variety and knitting pleasure. I recommend some experience of lace knitting before attempting this design as good manual dexterity is required for this section. There are four different stitch patterns utilised in this pattern altogether, of which the lace section requires the most concentration. All 3 sizes are 40 cm deep so this item may be worn pulled up over the head whilst still covering the neck.
