Combine a dynamic herringbone pattern with a stripe and you have VERVE. The adult hat is knit in the round with three colors of Aran weight yarn. Select high contrast colors for the herringbone section for the most impact. Want to add some moxie? Top it off with a spiky long haired pom!
Sizing is for an adult M/L hat. Smaller or larger hat needed? Adjust the quantity of cast on stitches in increments of 8 stitches. Looking for a more fitted beanie? Reduce the stripe pattern sets to three or four.
Techniques include single row jogless stripes and slipped stitches. A chart is included for the stranded colorwork. Helpful links are included.
