From the two French hens at the bottom to the royal crown at the top, you'll be humming "La Marseillaise" before you know it!
Size: Adult medium Needles: size 2, double pointed needles (you'll need 4) Yarn: Sport weight. You'll need two skeins of contrasting colors. Larger needles and thicker yarn will yield larger mittens. Gauge: 7 stitches X 8 rows = 1 inch
I used most of one skein for the background color and half a skein for the pattern color.
