This warm pocket shawl pattern is designed using two very unusual cable stitches: a very ornate focal cable, an interesting side cable, and bordered by the honeycomb cable stitch. If you enjoy cabling, you’ll enjoy making this shawl.
The shawl is made using worsted weight yarn, and hence is very warm. The patch pockets insure that your shawl stays on your shoulders.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).
All stitches are charted only.
The sample was knit with Lorna's Laces Shepherd worsted, but any worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern.
No crochet hooks are needed if you don't want to edge the shawl or patch pockets.
