Wasby the raccoon

With this very easy pattern, you can make a realistic and playful raccoon doll.

Size: 5 inch/ 13 cm sitting when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.

A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.

Materials For this crochet raccoon you’ll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/ 3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need three colours of yarn, grey (1/3 of a 100 yard skein), light beige (1/5), and (brown)black (1/5). The quantities are estimates. For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal safety eyes and as nose a safety nose. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). A pipe cleaner in the tail is optional if you want it to be bendable. Lopi colour numbers: 0057, 0086 and 0052.
