Once finished, place a boutique style tissue box inside and pull the first tissue through the opening in the chimney to mimic smoke curling skyward. Pattern includes instructions for knitting and fulling the cottage and roof/chimney plus suggestions for embellishing as shown with a wool or felt door and details added with wool yarn or roving in whichever technique you decide. Extras may be added in the form of beads, brads, lace, buttons, etc. Scraps work well. The whole project takes very little yarn and acts as a blank canvas for you to color and embellish as desired.
