The Wee Hoose Socks are knit from the toe up in rib with the option of placing the “Wee Hoose” colourwork either after the toe increases or around the top of the leg before the cuff, or both.
The pattern has a wedge toe and a Wrap and Turn short row heel, however the heel and toe can be changed to your own choice. They are knit using the magic loop method but can be adapted to suit dpns.
The pattern has written instruction and charts for the colourwork.
Gauge: 40 sts x 48 rows per 4 inches using 2.25mm (US1) needle 36 sts x 44 rows per 4 inches using 2.5mm (US1.5) needle for colourwork
Yarn: Any 2 contrasting colours in 4ply sock yarn Main colour - 50 grams 232.4 yards / 212.5 meters Contrast colour - 10g (colourwork). Sample: MC - Giddy Aunt Yarns Smooth Sock 50 g & CC - Unknown leftover 10g
