Perfect for chilly weather and anyone who loves tweed yarns! This one will be easy on your bank account, too, as it uses 5 to 9 skeins total of four colors (2 or 3 skeins of one color, and 1 or 2 skeins of each of the other three colors). It's easy to customize the colors to fit your mood, even reducing the number of the colors to two.
The sleeves are worked first so that you can match the stripes on the cropped body to those on the sleeves. The pattern is made up of 2-row stripes, with a 4-row repeat. As shown here, the length of the color repeat is 96-rows.
The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff up, then the sleeve cap worked back and forth. The body is worked in one piece from the bottom up, matching the beginning stripe color with the sleeves. Divide the stitches at the armholes to work the front and back separately.
