This shawl contains a combination of 3 straight and triangular patterns, quite easy to knit surrounded by a lovely wavy border. This border is the most challenging part and contains increases and decreases in all rows. The border is worked all around and most special are the corners.
The upper and lower border are knitted afterwards, but - if you like a sturdier version – they can be skipped and replaced by a nice way of binding off.
As the patterns are quite easy, this project guarantees a lot of relaxed hours knitting.
Finished size: One size 48 x 165 cm
Yarn: 184 gr (1160 mtr / 1268 yds) De Vaort Angorageiten lace color Blue, or any laceweight yarrn
Gauge: 38 stitches x 38 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm
Needles: circular needle 80 cm 3mm (US 2,5)
