Inspired by breaking waves on the shore and two fabulous yarn colours by Perran Yarns, these cosy mittens are knit in the round using the circular magic loop technique to create gently forming stripes.
Perran Yarns Falkland DK (100% fine Falkland Merino) Icey Blues and Mountain Top Blues: 50 g of each, 120 m / 131 yards.
Other materials: 3 stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn for holding stitches.
S: Finished mittens measure 20 cm / 7.5” long and 8 cm / 3 1/4” across the palm. M: Finished mittens measure 22 cm / 8.5” long and 9 cm / 3 1/2” across the palm. L: Finished mittens measure 25.5 cm / 10” long and 10 cm / 4” across the palm.
