Who‘s afraid? is an easy to knit garter stitch pattern with i-cord edges and an effective result.
The asymmetric sickle shape works nicely with stripes in contrasting colors as shown in the examples, but is also particularly appropriate for handspun or self-striping yarns.
So who’s afraid of colors? (The name is inspired by the famous painting “Who’s afraid of red, yellow, blue?” by Barnett Newman.

Die asymmetrische Sichelform eignet sich wunderbar für konstrastreiche Streifen wie in den Beispielen, aber ebenso für ein handgesponnenes oder mehrfarbiges Garn.
