The sister pattern to my popular Wild Poppies Shawl this cowl features a similar (but not quite the same) pattern of beautiful falling petals to keep your neck cosy and your needles busy. It’s quick to knit and makes a lovely gift!
I wanted to create a pretty but cosy cowl using just one skein of luxury yarn, perfect for all those skeins you decided to buy just one of for fear of being extravagant! Creating an expanding lace pattern was the perfect way of making the cowl sit nicely on the shoulders and the scalloped edging adds a bit of extra interest.
All lace patterns have both charts and written instructions so you can work from whichever you prefer. Charts are provided on a separate page at the end of the pattern, so there’s no wasted paper if you don’t want to use them.
*This cowl is designed to be knitted in 4ply/sock weight yarn. Guidance is also provided in the pattern for making a larger or smaller cowl than shown. *
