Produktdetails
Windcaller is a heavily cabled hat that will keep you warm all winter. It begins with a tubular cast-on (though feel free to substitute your favorite stretchy cast-on) and is worked in 1x1 rib. Then, an increase round is worked to compensate for the difference in gauge between the ribbing and cable pattern. Cable pattern is knit until hat measures 2.25"/4cm less than desired height, then crown decreases are worked.
140 (160, 190) yards [130 (146, 174) meters] of worsted weight yarn. Sample (Teen/Adult Small) was made using 160 yards (146 meters) of Worsted 2 Ply by Twin Oaks Farm in colorway Blue Heather.
Substitute a yarn with good stitch definition that is light enough and uniform enough to highlight complex cables.
