Winter Halo

Inspired by rings around the moon, the lace work and shaping represents craters and noticeable shapes and shadows on the moon’s surface.

Winter Halo is a Hap style shawl, full of fun techniques including lace work, short rows, and a delicate picot edging.

Using one colour Merino Singles lace weight as a base yarn, you can use up scraps of Mohair Silks to strand with it for colour blocking. These two yarns together create a beautifully soft and ethereal shawl, which will keep you cosy through all the moonlit winter evenings.
