This hat forms part of the Winter Twist Collection of accessories, which includes a slouchy hat, gloves and boot cuffs as well as this beanie hat. The Winter Twist Collection is a series of accessories that can be worn alone or together and is perfect for wrapping up against autumn and winter chills.
All the patterns incorparate the same design elements of a twisted cable and button details.
The brim of the hat is knitted flat then a few stitches are cast off at each end to form the button placket before joining in the round to work the main body and crown.
This pattern is suitable for any DK weight yarn that knits to the correct tension. Solid colours are recommended to best show off the cable pattern.
Sizes: S, M, L to fit head 46 (51, 56) cm
Yarn required: 170 (175, 180) m
Optional pompom requires additional 50m of yarn
