You could stop traffic with these socks

Sometimes you need a basic sock design. This design is written to fit foot circumference of both 8" and 8 1/2" and the foot length is adjustable. There is no fancy pattern, sock is knitted (except for the heel flap) in Stocking (Stockinette) Stitch - it is a very quick knit. I have used 100 g of 100% acrylic double knitting yarn and 3.75 mm double-pointed needles to knit my socks, however, you may prefer a slightly less 'tailored' fit and so I recommend using 4 mm needles.
