It is a good pattern to learn right side and wrong side because you have to switch sides in order to get your fold line. It is also a good pattern for beginning knitters to learn YO’s. Practice YO’s going from knit stitches to purl stitches and from purl stitches to knit stitches. No thinking on the buttonholes, just follow the directions.
