This is a written pattern for a hat made on 2 needles with a back seam. The basic hat pattern is the same for either the cat or the dog and can also be used as a simple stocking stitch beanie pattern without the animal features.
Use your choice of any smooth DK/8 ply yarn: between 25 and 65 gms main colour,depending on size.
