Another name for this style shawl is a SONTAG. I have had several people talk about a shawl of this construction. I know that the garter ridges do not go the same way as the one in the movie, but that doesn’t bother me. I will use this one when I go for my spinning demonstrations and have to dress up. I LOVE it!
